Dr. Naomi Lane, or "Dr. Naomi" as most patients call her, is a Board Certified pediatric dentist who is committed to creating positive experiences for families. As a mom, she offers a gentle, patient, and caring touch. As an experienced clinician, she has the expertise to provide high-quality, individualized care. After graduating from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry, she completed her pediatric dental residency at Children's Hospital Colorado, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Naomi is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and received the James R. Roche Award of Excellence for achieving the highest score on the qualifying exam. Before moving to Greensboro, she served as adjunct faculty in the Department of Pediatric Dentistry at Children's Hospital Colorado, a member of the Medical Board of Children's Hospital Colorado, a consultant on the Rocky Mountain Hospital for Children Cleft Lip and Palate Team, and President of the Colorado Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Naomi is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, a member of the College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, the North Carolina Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, and the North Carolina Dental Society. She is credentialed at Cone Health and serves on the Cone Health Dental Peer Review Committee.
Dr. Naomi loves living in Greensboro with her husband, three children, and Springer Spaniel. She has a passion for travel and service and has joined several volunteer dental trips in Guatemala. Outside of the office, you can find her playing golf, biking, hiking, or on the sidelines of the ice as a hockey mom.
Dr. Jennifer Macdonald, or "Dr. Jenn," is a Board Certified pediatric dentist who enjoys working with children of all ages, educating them on the importance of their oral hygiene, and working together to create beautiful smiles. Dr. Jenn studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated in just three years with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After undergrad, she moved to Greenville, NC, where she attended East Carolina School of Dental Medicine and obtained her DMD degree. Knowing she wanted to work specifically with children, Dr. Jenn completed her pediatric dental residency at Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital in Richmond, VA. During her second year, she served as Chief Resident.
From a very young age, Dr. Jenn knew she wanted to be a pediatric dentist. She was fortunate enough to shadow and work at a pediatric dental office, starting at age 13 through her college years. Passion for dentistry also runs deep in her family – her mother is a hygienist, and her husband is a general dentist (along with her father- and brother-in-law!). Dr. Jenn and her husband, Dr. Brad, live in Greensboro with their daughter, Lilly, and their "tweenie" dachshund, Barkley. When not in the office, Dr. Jenn enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants in the Triad, baking, and attempting to play tennis!
Dr. Bryan Cobb graduated from Wake Forest University (Magna Cum Laude) with a degree in biology in 1973. He was honored with induction into Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Cobb attended the University Of North Carolina School Of Dentistry and graduated with a degree of DDS in 1977. He served as President of his senior dental class and was inducted into Omnicrom Kappa Upsilon, honorary Dental Fraternity. Dr. Cobb completed requirements for a Master of Science in Pediatric Dentistry in 1979. He served a 1-year internship with the Division of Disorders of Development and Learning. Dr. Cobb served as chief resident in Pediatric Dentistry at NC Memorial Hospital. Dr. Cobb’s thesis, “A Comparative Study of APF Thixotropic Gels and APF Solutions” is still cited in the dental literature.
Dr. Cobb has published 3 papers and still teaches part-time at the UNC School of Dentistry. Dr Cobb is a member of the American Dental Association, NC Dental Society, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, NC Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, Guilford County Dental Society, and 3 Dental Study Clubs. He currently serves on the UNC Dental Alumni Association board, the Give Kid’s a Smile Committee of the NC Dental Society and is a member of the NC Academy of Pediatric Dentistry Board of Directors, and is the Chief of Dental Surgery at Cone Health.
Dr. Cobb has practiced Pediatric Dentistry in Greensboro since 1979. He was the first Greensboro Pediatric Dentist to receive a Diplomate status from the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 1986.
Dr. Cobb is the parent of 2 grown daughters. Dr. Cobb and his wife Renea live in Greensboro and enjoy sporting events, traveling, gardening, and their delightful Cocker Spaniel, “Winston”. Dr. Cobb is an avid golfer.
