Pediatric Dentist

Dr. Jennifer Macdonald, or “Dr. Jenn,” as her patients like to call her, is excited to join the Piedmont Pediatric Dentistry team! Dr. Jenn studied at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she graduated in just three years with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. After undergrad, she moved to Greenville, NC, where she attended East Carolina School of Dental Medicine and obtained her DMD degree. Knowing she wanted to work specifically with children, Dr. Jenn completed her pediatric dental residency at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Richmond, VA. During her second year, she served as chief resident.

From a very young age, Dr. Jenn knew she wanted to be a pediatric dentist. She was fortunate enough to shadow and work at a pediatric dental office, starting at age 13 through her college years. Passion for dentistry also runs deep in her family – her mother is a hygienist, and her husband is a general dentist (along with her father- and brother-in-law!). Dr. Jenn and her husband, Dr. Brad, live in Greensboro with their “tweenie” dachshund, Barkley. When not in the office, Dr. Jenn enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants in the Triad, baking, and attempting to play tennis!
